Graceland

Yes, this is truly the home of "the king"... in all of its glory.  It seems almost surreal that one can walk up, purchase a ticket, and be guided into the personal home of arguably the greatest legend in all of recorded music.  There is no spying over the hedges, climbing fences, or bribing security guards.  You just have to buy a ticket.  It's that simple.

I must start off by saying that I have literally traveled the globe.  I have visited castles, palatial homes, and sites that have literally been a part of history.  However, I have never entered a structure where the spirit of a person is so embodied in every aspect.  Touring his residence is so personal... seeing the items that he touched on a daily basis... looking at the things that he loved, that made this mansion a home.  If you have even a spark of emotion in your body, you will literally "feel" Elvis Presley.  How beautiful is that?

There are several packages to choose from for your touring experience.  While there is a tour of the mansion only, for those on a tight timeline, there are other packages that allow entrances to other exhibits, providing even more insight into this remarkable human being.

This is reason enough to visit Memphis.  While many other wonderful attractions and tours are offered, I can not even imagine leaving Tennessee without a visit to Graceland.  It's kind of like running out of Disneyland without bothering to see Mickey Mouse.

Expect to spend several hours... peaking into the Jungle Room, seeing several of Elvis' famous vehicles, or even stepping aboard his personal airplane.  This is the total experience!
