Hi.  I am Kendyl Rae. I am the official Jr. Journalist for Destination Diaries!

I have lots of opinions about all sorts of things. I have also been told that I have an AMAZING (what's that word...) vocabulary.

I am really liking this job as a junior journalist! I get to go to a lot of really neat places, and then afterward, I get to tell everyone what I think about it. I've also started doing some interview work, like at Kentucky Down Under, Graceland and all sorts of other places. I really like being in front of the camera! Who knew?

I also LIVE to travel. Road trips are my favorite. I really like museums, especially art and science! And I LOVE to stay in hotels, especially in New York City, where it's only a quick walk to Broadway! I like adventure and finding cool places to eat and exploring. You never know what you'll find, including the homes of movie and TV stars. I'll turn into a fangirl in five seconds flat!

But most of all I love the theater.  I am attending Lincoln Performing Arts Elementary School, and it's my last year! I love plays, especially the ones full of music. Check out the Children's Theater at Derby Dinner Playhouse, where I regularly train in their workshops and intensives with awesome teachers! It is so much fun. I'll be on that stage one day... just watch!

I used to really love Sesame Street, and absolutely anything Disney.  I have seen Disney On Ice four times, and just try to keep me away from the fifth! I also love visiting Walt Disney World.

WARNING:  I am pretty obsessed with Adam Lambert. I saw him for the very first time in Nashville, and he stopped during the show to talk to me. Needless to say, that was the highlight of my young life. Now, I just saw Leah Michelle and Darren Criss, and I'm waiting to check Idina Menzel off my list.

I've really been expanding my musical tastes lately! These days, you'll see that I'm pretty into girl power, so I am loving some of the female-fronted bands like In This Moment, New Year's Day and The Pretty Reckless. I love the way they always take time to meet their fans!

Also, take a look at the Amusement Parks page! I had so much fun at King's Island last year. The dance party with Snoopy is awesome!
