Killjoy

By Angela Ash

The Derby Dinner Playhouse does it again! Another stellar production is running through February 16th, and it is a perfect blend of comedy and thriller, culminating in more twists and turns than a roller coaster.

The action is set in Chicago in the 90's (with the music to prove it), and Carol, played by Tina Jo Wallace, can not stop thinking about killing her husband, Victor (David Myers), while tossing in side-splitting one-liners at every opportune moment. Just when you think you have the ending figured out, think again.  The cast of Killjoy is not finished with you just yet. Jeffrey Todd Parrott and Carly Stotts play the roles of the the couple's adult children, and Janet Essenpreis and Cary Wiger bring surprise after surprise in their roles of "the new wife", Claudia, and the attorney, Rick.  J.R. Stuart rounds up the cast as the absolutely hilarious Father Mulcahy.

Killjoy is witty, playful, and almost sinful at times, which is why you should not hesitate to order your tickets today!

Remember... the Derby Dinner Playhouse is located just across the river from Louisville in Clarksville, Indiana.  It is a theater in the round, ensuring that everyone has a great seat.  Dinner is served buffet-style, and the menu boasts everything from carved turkey and beef to a baked potato station.
