The turkey leftovers are finally gone, and the tree is up... decorations and all.  The next obvious holiday activity is to visit Lights Under Louisville at the Mega Cavern!  This is Christmas cheer at its epitome, and it will truly enrapture children and adults of all ages.  It's official.  It's pretty fantastic. 

Your adventure will begin as you drive your own vehicle into the cavern that has definitely earned the name "Mega".  Visitors will witness over 850 illuminated characters, with over 2 million points of light.  Your journey is set to all of your favorite holiday tunes, and you can sing along as you experience the world's only fully underground light display of its kind!

You will view several areas throughout the cavern that promote the holidays  with the use of different themes.  You will experience fairytales, popular local attractions, and the "Frozen Zone"... where you may just hear that song that has been stuck in your head for 3 days after you watched the film for the 47th time with your little ones. 

This is not only a one-of-a-kind attraction, but it is extremely friendly to the holiday budget.  Lights Under Louisville charges by the car load, and they even offer special rates for buses. 

They are open all the way through January 4th... just to make sure that you have time to squeeze in 17 miles of one of the best Christmas attractions on the planet!
