Chartres House

Chartres House is a favorite for locals in New Orleans.  With its charming, welcoming dining spaces and menu full of comfort food, it isn't difficult to see why many people can't get enough of their delicious cuisine and expertly mixed libations.

The menu offers one of the best appetizer selections in the Quarter.  With tempting starters like the Fried Green Tomato Chips, Spinach & Artichoke Dip, Crawfish Bread, and Alligator Bites, you just can't go wrong.

When you are ready for the main course, the decision making may prove to be quite difficult.  Boasting favorites like the Crawfish Stuffed Fish, Grilled Portobello Mushrooms, and the Cashew Crusted Redfish, it is easy to see why many patrons will need a repeat performance.  However, literally leaping from the menu is "A Taste Of New Orleans", a bountiful platter of three selections of either Red Beans & Rice, Jambalaya, Chicken & Andouille Gumbo, or Crawfish Etouffee.

Chartres House also offers a palate pleasing array of burgers and sandwiches, including the Muffaletta, the Chartres House Burger, or the Roast Beef Po-Boy.

To satisfy that sweet tooth, be sure to sample the bread pudding... some of the best in all of New Orelans!
