Christmastide at Locust Grove

Step back in time to 1816, and experience a holiday celebration like no other at Christmastide at Locust Grove!

The Clark and Croghan families will invite you into their festively decorated home for music, dancing, and interesting conversation with the family and their guests. Refreshments will be offered, and you may just forget what century you are in before you depart! You can even wander into the kitchen, where family recipes are prepared over an open hearth.  You may even sample cakes, pies, and other treats!

Also make sure to stop in at the Visitors' Center, where the present day will offer entertainment and refreshments of its own. Have a cup of coffee or hot apple cider, along with a delicious cookie or piece of fudge. Dance lessons are also offered, along with storytelling.
