Indianapolis

indianpolis

Indianapolis is the capital city of Indiana, as well as its most populated.  With plenty of things to see and do, it is also the prefect place for a weekend getaway!

Indinapolis is also easy to reach from any direction!  Dubbed the "Crossroads of America", it is the junction for 6 interstates, 6 major highways, and 4 state roads.  And these roads will take you anywhere from the zoo, to delicious dining, to world-class museums, to casino gaming, and to live music venues.  Indianpolis is great fun!

The Comfort Inn is a wonderful hotel option when visiting the Indianapolis or Shelbyville areas.  It is located conveniently just off Interstate 74, and it is close to all of the action!  Just a few miles from the city center, and just mere minutes away from the Indiana Grand Casino, an entire world of entertainment is just outside your door!

And while you are comfortably tucked inside of your "home away from home", expect mattresses that cradle you to sleep, with an option for firm or soft pillows.  The rooms come equipped with a microwave and mini refrigerator, plus complimentary Wi-Fi.  This property also features a heated, indoor swimming pool... just perfect for a relaxing swim after a long day's worth of sightseeing.

And when morning comes, the free, hot breakfast buffet is waiting, complete with waffles!  When looking for a hotel that is both convenient, comfortable, and affordable, the Comfort Inn in Shelbyville is the perfect choice!

If you are anywhere even near the Indianapolis area and want to take in some live music, then the Vogue is the place to be!

Originally opening as a movie theater in 1938, and in 1977 it was transformed into a nightclub that boasted both regional and national acts.  Over the past 25 years, the Vogue has become iconic, and anyone in Indianapolis who has any interest in live music can easily give you directions to this entertainment paradise.  And the Vogue has a real reason to brag, because greats like Johnny Cash, the Ramones, the White Strips, John Mayer, and Ice Cube have graced the stage.

The whole setup at the Vogue is just brilliant.  With seats in the balcony upstairs and along the floor edges, and an open design on the main floor with standing room only, this venue offers the best of both worlds.  And with a bar that is easily accessible and fully stocked, there's not much more you can ask for!

But the Vogue is just full of surprises, also doubling as one of Indianapolis' most thrilling night spots, with the main level transforming into a hopping dance floor!

Be sure to check out a show at the Vogue.  Their calendar of events is always filled to the brim with exciting acts.  Check out what's coming up HERE, or call (317) 259-7029.
