HALLELUJAH GIRLS will be playing at the Derby Dinner Playhouse through October 2. This Southern comedy is a funny, heart-warming tale that relays the day-to-day activities of a group of female friends at a popular church that has been turned into a day spa.

This is exactly the type of performance where one can just let go and relax. There's no mystery to solve and no choruses to sing, but there are plenty of opportunities to laugh until your sides ache! The cast is perfectly matched, featuring many Derby Dinner favorites, including Elizabeth Loos, Tina Jo Wallace, Rita Thomas, Janet Essenpreis, Brian Bowman, Debbie King-Raque, Michael Bradley and Paul Kerr.

As always, Loos and Wallace are both brilliant in their roles, standing out from an already phenomenal cast. Essenpreis makes the perfect villain, also bringing in many moments of the prouction's hilarious one-liners.

HALLELUJAH GIRLS is written by Jones Hope Wooten and directed by Bekki Jo Schneider.

If you are ready for a night of laughs and stress-relief, be sure to see HALLELUJAH GIRLS, quite possibly one of Derby Dinner Playhouse's most heartwarming tales to date.

And be sure to arrive early for the Footnotes, the pre-show entertainment, who always start the night off with whimsical song and dance routines, Always connected in some way to the evening's production.

The Derby Dinner Playhouse is located in Clarksville, Indiana... right over the bridge from Louisville, Kentucky. It is a theater in the round, and has been in operation since 1974, making it one of the oldest and largest continuously operating theatres in the country!
