Actors Theatre is known for bringing in the right play at precisely the right time. Hooked in to nearly intuitively know the desires of their audience, the cool October breeze will blow in one of Shakespeare's most haunting classics, Macbeth, right onto the stage of the Pamela Brown Auditorium.

While this stunning masterpiece really needs no introduction, theater goers will be mesmerized by this dark tale of thwarted ambition and the repercussions of our actions. This monarch will stop at nothing to achieve his goals, even when he realizes that he must leave a trail of murderous deeds in his wake. "By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes." And indeed, that it does.

Directed by Les Waters, this performance will continues to give you chills, long after you have exited the theater. Andrew Garman, in the role of Macbeth, is exceptional. He seems to visibly ooze revenge and betrayal, specifically as he murders his friend, Banquo, played brilliantly by Che Ayende. However, one of the crowning moments concludes just before the break for intermission, when Lady Macbeth, played by Jessica Frances Dukes, stalks away from the ruined dinner, dragging with her the tablecloth, as she exits the stage to a maniacal version of "Everybody Wants To Rule The World".

Remember that Actors Theatre will run this chilling adaption through October 26th, so be sure to get your tickets early! Absolutely perfect for the Halloween season, spend a night full of treachery and desire at the Actors Theatre. And be prepared. There WILL be blood!
