Showing March 21 through 26 at the beautiful Fisher Theater in Detroit, RENT explodes onto the stage in a manner in which only RENT can pull off. Bringing the audience's emotions along on an impromptu ride is what this cast does the best, along with, well... everything else that they do! If you want a night to remember, be sure to attend at least one performance of this bohemian musical. (That's right, you may want to see it TWICE!)

And this is no regular tour for RENT. This represents twenty years of self expression, inspiration, creativity and, most importantly, love. Based on the original direction by Michael Greif (Tony and Drama Desk Nominations, RENT), Evan Ensign will restage this special anniversary tour. Marlies Yearby (Tony Nomination, RENT) will be the choreographer.

This performance includes: Danny Harris Kornfeld, Kaleb Wells, Skylar Volpe, David Merino, Katie Lamark, Aaron Harrington and many more. David Merino is absolutely bewitching in the role of Angel. In fact, it is almost impossible to tear one's away when he is onstage. Of course, the chemistry between Wells and Volpe completely enraptures the audience, and the sorrowful, brilliant portrayal of a lover in mourning is played to perfection by Harrington.

Even though RENT was first performed over 20 years ago, the basic premise of this play is still relevant today. As the audience witnesses love, loss and the will to survive, it reminds us that things don't change as quickly as we might think.

Tickets start at $39 and are now on sale at all Ticketmaster locations, by phone at 1-800-982-2787, online at www.broadwayindetroit.com or www.ticketmaster.com, and at The Fisher Theatre Box Office.
