School of Rock - The Musical will be playing through March 4th at the lovely Aronoff Center. If you're ready to see some of the best young artists onstage today, mixed in with a lot of rock 'n roll, then this is the performance for you!

If you even took a passing glance at the names behind this fun-loving piece filled with screeching guitars and heavy-metal screams, then you've seen that this popular play has a book that is written by Julian Fellowes, with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Glenn Slater. However, even with such high expectations, this production still manages to delight and surprise!

Directed by Laurence Connor with choreography by JoAnn M. Hunter, School of Rock - The Musical definitely pulls out all stops.

A hair band musician in his glory days, Dewey (Rob Colletti), through a surprising turn of events, finds himself teaching an impressionable young group of students. As they bond together to compete in the Battle of the Bands, just about anything is possible, including a budding attraction with the school principal (Lexi Dorsett Sharp).

As Dewey and the children find themselves in hilarious situations in their quest to win the prize, you will see some of the most amazing performances by this group of talented kids. Don't even blink during Gianna Harris' rendition of "Amazing Grace!"
