The King and I will be playing through April 22nd at the beautiful Aronoff Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. If you're ready for an evening filled with breathtaking sets by Michael Yeargan and the memorable music and performances of Rodgers and Hammerstein, then do not hesitate to buy your tickets today!

Based on the novel Anna and the King of Siam by Margaret London, this is the 75th anniversary of this all-time favorite musical, with new audiences and new generations still continuing to feel the power behind this performance.

Directed by Bartlett Sher with choreography by Christopher Gattelli, you can expect to see the rousing song-and-dance numbers that Rodgers and Hammerstein are known for, as you tap your feet and try desperately to sing along, softly, to favorites like "Getting to Know You," "Something Wonderful" and "I Whistle a Happy Tune."

In this amazing performance, a widowed governess moves to Siam to instruct the king's children but gets much more than she bargained for. As she learns to understand and appreciate the culture and lifestyle of the people of this country, she quickly learns that Siam and its ruler mean more to her than she ever could have realized.

Jose Llana is spectacular as the King of Siam, welcoming peals of laughter and appreciation with his every nuance. Elena Shaddow completely embodies the role of Anna, as she grows from a proper British schoolteacher into a real part of this intricate country.

The Aronoff Center is the perfect place to witness all that Broadway has in store for Cincinnati, so be sure to catch this unforgettable performance.
