Million Dollar Quartet

The Robber Bridegroom

By Tim Ash

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET will be playing at the Derby Dinner Playhouse through September 29th, so be ready for a night filled with toe-tapping and an inspirational story that brings you back to a wonderful moment in music history! This one is enjoyable for most ages, so make it a family event. And we dare you not to hum along!

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET is produced by Lee Buckholtz and directed by Jim Hessleman, with musical direction by Scott Bradley and choreography by Heather Paige Folsom.

On a fateful night on December 4, 1956, four musical greats meet up for a night of soul searching and jamming as you've never seen before! When Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis allowed fate to draw them into Sun Studios on the same evening, what followed next was nothing short of pure genius.

Expect your favorite numbers, such as "Walk the Line," "Blue Suede Shoes," "Who Do You Love," "Great Balls of Fire," "Folsom Prison Blues" and "Hound Dog."

The cast includes Trevor Dorner, Stephen Hardy, Liam O'Daniel - Munger, Jacob Barton, Clay Smith, Taylor Kraft, Kroy Presley and Jon Rossi. It's a great opportunity to see some new faces at DDP!

These performers create an almost magical atmosphere, with Clay Smith as Sam Phillips, standing in as the perfect narrator. Don't blink, or you may miss an unforgettable moment, like Kraft's stunning rendition of "Fever."

And be sure not to miss the Footnotes, DDP's special musical hosts and hostesses, who offer pre-show entertainment, full of memorable numbers. This collection surprises the audience with several solos, shining a spotlight on the vocal prowess of these talented performers!

The Derby Dinner Playhouse is located in Clarksville, Indiana... right over the bridge from Louisville, Kentucky. It is a theater in the round, and has been in operation since 1974, making it one of the oldest and largest continuously operating theatres in the country!

You will always receive a top-notch production for your ticket price, along with a mouth-watering meal, served buffet style, boasting favorites like fried fish, mouth-watering pasta selections and a meat-carving station. Some of the best desserts around are also offered, like the all-new Mississippi Mud Cake!
