Ron Pope

When we're lucky, an artist comes along who can capture human emotions in an unparalleled, organic way... speaking to the very soul of those fortunate enough to have discovered his music. Ron Pope sings in fluent poetry, taking the listener on a roller coaster ride of love, loss and everything in between.

Supporting his new release, "Inside Voices," out on June 2nd, you can currently see Ron Pope in a city near you. And there are about a thousand reasons you should. But, we'll go over just a few.

Lydia Luce is accompanying Pope on most of his dates, and she's enthralling audiences in every city. With a whimsical spirit and a clear voice, she shows her prowess on the violin and illustrates that she's definitely an act to keep an eye on.

And as Pope takes the stage, it's a pleasant surprise to see that he's also joined on many numbers by Luce and long-time friend and uber-talented artist, Paul Hammer. These are some of the moments that you long for in a live event but rarely see. The trio banters back and forth as they roll from one hit to the next, leaving tears and smiles in equal measure throughout the audience.

But as spectacular as these moments are, something magical happens when Pope places his hands on the keys. This is where he lives and breathes, and songs like "Fireflies" and his sensational hit "Drop in the Ocean" are just the tip of the iceberg as Pope sings about love, loss and hope... almost as if they're old friends.

And if you have the opportunity, it's more than worth a few extra dollars to take advantage of the meet and greet package, which boasts a merchandise pack, early entry and a special performance from Pope before the doors even open.

I'm off to listen to "The Real Thing" for the 10,423rd time. So, CLICK HERE for tour dates, merchandise and more.
